( LIKES ) :[/blockquote]
Still life photos: there's something very sad and nostaligic about looking back at moments frozen in time. Here the world can be viewed from any angle and bring back emotions and memories you never thought you still bore when you weren't looking at them. Noelle, of course, loves both still photos and the magical moving ones. Moving ones do bring a certain element, but the saddest moments shouldn't be allowed to move.
Romance: she is a big lover of romance. It's very easy to get her approval. It's candlelit dinners - cosy, intimate, romantic. Candles soft in the corner of a round tabe, poor background lighting the delicious aroma of fresh bread and the hint of basil. Better yet a home cooked dinner, not matter how disasterous that turns out to be. She also likes being presented with flowers and whisked off her feet. Noelle likes to feel special and it's pretty easy to do.
To be wooed/courted: old fashioned? Perhaps. She is a fan of the old fashioned kind of relationships they had more than 100 years ago. Noelle does like her men to make a bit of an effort, that being said she isn't cruel either. If things go wrong she's not going to hold it against anyone. She likes to feel wanted, special and important but that shouldn't be effortless - therefore she dislikes guys who are smooth and slick, and think they are God's gift to the world. Chat up lines don't really work - she will laugh but it won't be the kind you want. Goof it up? Stumble, knock something over and you'll have her smiling naturallly. It's not cruel, it's fondness.
Flowers: the fresh smell of flowers is a great welcome and decoration. They perfectly compliment all rooms in crystal vases and are a token of affection - from anyone. They should mean something though otherwise it's just a dying patch of plant in her room. They look pretty though and certainly brighten the place up.
Interior design: designing the inside of a room is somewhat of a passionate hobby for Noelle. As her professional aspriations go, Noele isn't sure where she wants to go though. She never really is working when she does this (or drawing) but making the perfect place to sit, eat, and live. She knows all about styles, themes, colours, what clashes and what doesn't and what compliments and what doesn't. Despite being full of fun and games even whist working Noelle takes it very seriously.
Drawing/painting/sketching/designing: Noelle's favourite thing, however, is designing clothing. A little too muggle perhaps, but she does adore their fashion industry. She's always reading fashion magazines from the muggle world and cutting out the clothes she thinks are nice. There were too many formal robes in the wizarding world...don't you think? Drawing and painting and sketching are also other loves from her. She's very artistic and detailed about it.
Colour: No Specifics! She loves it all. She'd splash her home like the rainbow if the clashing colours didn't make her cringe. She doesn't the whole black and white chrome thing - but that doesn't mean she doesn't like either black or white! The monochrome deal is just to mascculine and surgical for her tastes. Give a bit of colour, a bit of life and she's on her way to being happyyyyy!
Fire places: It's a romantic kind of setting to snuggle up by the fire - blankets, champagne, strawberries and cream - it's warm and cosy and a little bit sexy. It only proves she's a hopeless romantic and a bit of a dreamer too.
Crystal: Crystal glasses are sexy and elegant. The beautiful shaped and cut fragility holds wine spectacularly! It makes her feel all pretty and special. Crystal jewellery and ornaments are also appealing.
Paperweights: Not as a practical resource though! She just likes them as a decoration.
Sunset/sunrise: It's pretty and serene. It's very humbling to see and reminds Noelle she is but one of many many humans living in the world. It makes her feel awe. It is a special and precious sight.
Having fun! : Noelle loves a good laugh, laughing, life, fun. She loves going clubbing, reading romance novels, dancing, singing, drinking etc. Noelle just loves living above all else and she's kind of fearless whilst doing so. There really is little to deter her from something she loves or finds intriguing and interesting. She likes trampolining, rock climbing, Quidditch, football, netball.
Being mischief: Noelle loves getting up to all sorts of trouble. She loves paying pranks, concocting plans which result in amused yet irritated friends. She loves embarrassing them too and seeing their shocked, astounded faces tickles her. It's even better when they are beetroot. However it's not fun when they look hurt or start to cry. Noelle never wants to go that far.
Being in love: the flutter of the heart, the rush of air into the lungs and utter shining joy which comes with it. She likes waiting impatiently for the phone to ring, for a letter to arrive, to go out to dinner and be nervous the entire time.
Sunshine and sunbathing
Theme parks: big or small, bright or plunging, vertical into the pitch black etc, Noelle loves them all. It's exciting to be up so high and to be moving so fast. It's best done in the sunshine. Water/log flumes are the best.
Board Games: They are friendly fun and very sociable. Winning or losing is not the point but the taking part! Noelle believes this fiercely - especially since she normally loses. She loves all kinds of board games - ones with strategy, patience or speed. Winning doesn't matter to Noelle in these matters, just the fun!
Video Games: Noellelikes to play the PSP, Dsi, PS3, X-Box - anything! She likes platform RPGS but doesn't like playing for hours on end. She likes to play for a couple of hours at a time and then call it a day. Every so often she'll go on a 'gaming spree' where all her spare time will be spent playing video games and little else. However it only lasts a couple of months until other things catch her attention once more. And then several months later she'll have another go at it.
Competitions: She loves the excitement which comes with winning and losing. She likes the unknown of chance and luck in these terms. Winning or losing doesn't matter to her either way. As long as she knows she's done everything she could that's good enough for her. She can always walk away quite happily no matter what, whether she wins or loses.
Full moons: She thinks they are very pretty and romantic.
Spanish/french/russian: She just loves languages and can speak English perfectly, learned French on her own and wants to learn Spanish and Russian.
The Marauders: They are so funny! If only she could help them with a prank - she'd be quite happy with that. Plus they are all pretty hot (excluding Peter)
Her sister and her sister's friends
Celebrations: birthdays and Christmas etc - although the sweets are nice too XD
( DISLIKES ) :
People Being Mean: Noelle being the nice person she is hates it when people are mean to her, or witnesses people being mean to others. She's never mean to anyone herself unless pushed very far, and even then it is very pathetic. It makes her feel bad about herself or angry to be mean about anyone. Noelle also dislikes it when people are mean to others. She'll dive in and try her best to defend anyone who is being bullied but she's not so good with words, stumbles and fumbles and so isn't exactly effortless in her defence and usually ends up hurt herself but misery loves company - right? It's worth it though if the other person is saved more pain.
Arrogance: It's not an attractive trait in anyone and Noelle can't stick it! It just makes her want to turn heel and head straight in the opposite direction.
Smooth Talkers: lightly charming is being fine but people who clearly love themselves and think themselves chocolate are the most wonderful thing in the world makes her feel a little sick. Smooth is just not cool in her eyes. For Noelle they are after only one thing and that isn't something she's able to freely give. She must have romantic feelings.
Being Bullied: Many girls didn't appreciate Noelle's quirky independent nature and often made silly bitchy comments on more than one occasion. Her mother told her they were just jealous. The used to make her cry in her dorm room or anywhere quiet she could find. Bullies never saw her tears.
Others Being Bullied
Hurting People: Sometimes Noelle when hurt or angry can blurt something out which will be taken the wrong way. Usually she is tactful but when flustered, panicked or emotional her mouth can leap ahead of everything else.
Coconut: tastes weird
Tracksuits: Although she can see the appeal of loose clothing which are comfortable and easy to move in she doesn't like the designs, colours or material. Nylon really isn't her scene and she doesn't like the jersey ones either because they symbolise thugs.
Khaki
Horror Movies: How anyone can enjoy watching people rip each other a part is unfathomable to Noelle. It's just blood, pain, guts, brains, screaming and malignant sadism rolled into 2 hours. Noelle hates killing insects - even flies those pesky little buggers - let alone seeing people in prolonged suffering and agony.
Hospitals: Boring, sterile, clean and filled with decay and death. There's nothing to do but lie around and wait to get better, be released. It's got a strange smell, horrible food and is full of misery and pain and death. There's little worse than waiting by a bedside...just waiting. Suffering lines the walls and Noelle never wants to be a part of that.
Pain: Some people do but Noelle doesn't, not in any form. She hates it when she snicks a finger with a knife, bangs a toe, bites her tongue, trips, slips or falls. It all hurts and is highly distracting. She hates emotional pain: she'd much rather be happy.
Losing Keys/ her wand: searching all around the house for misplaced keys/wand or other items drives her batty. Worry is something she's good at. Loosing items causes her anxiety.
Fighting/Arguing: She does not like being angry and the act itself is also horrible. You mustn't go to bed angry. It only festers.
Dueling: She's really rather good at it and can defend herself well but she doesn't like it. She'd much rather not have to fight for her life thank you but she has a feeling she's going to have to. This war is vile and she's not one to be neutral.
Guns: Too many guns on the streets, violence only breeds more violence and more people die. She took muggle studies and rather enjoyed it, which is why she knows of guns.
Cucumber/lettuce: bland...tasteless...
Being stuck Indoors: Noelle likes freedom and independence and being outside is an extension of that. She feels trapped and caged when she's stuck inside too long.
Slytherins (generally but not all): She's not bigoted against them, but they generally are mean, and that makes her not like them. There are a few which are not run of the mill and so she doesn't dislike them. She does not judge by house colours, appearance or ethnicity.
Snivelling:
People commenting on her abilities/intelligence: Noelle isn't the most intelligent of people but she's got tons of common sense, is insightful and sees people clearly and understands situations almost immediately. She's just academically challenged.
Horror/gory movies.
( STRENGTHS ) :
Loyal: Noelle is very loyal, loyal to a fault even when it's dangerous and looks as though she could get hurt, even terrified she'll give it a go. She may be scared about it but she's more concerned about letting down others When you're having money trouble or being stalked or chased she's still going to help especially if you go off the rails or become depressed. She's very compassionate and can't help but feel for you. You can try threatening her etc, but she's persistent.
Caring: Noelle is a very caring person. She feels for everyone she meets and sees the good in them no matter what - even if there isn't anything good about you, somehow Noelle will see it. She can be repeatedly kind to those who have been mean to her especially if she feels there's something more to you.
Optimist: She's bright, fun, energetic and has unfathomable positive attitude. Plans going wronge, dates turning out disastrously and she'll still find a way to take something good out of it, even salvage it and have a good time.
Creative: Noelle is a great artist - drawing, painting, designing etc. She's got a real flair for the artistic side f life and with a little bit of time can create some lovely pictures and designs. Noelle is good at picking out colours and details and textures others can't see and putting them together. She loves fashion.
Generous: Noelle is a kind gentle soul who can't bare to see anyone hard up. For friends she'll offer a room to stay, money etc. She gives charity through the Muggle world. She gives sweets and other gifts easily, maybe just because she saw them and thought the person in mind would like them. She does it just because she wants to make someone smile and she likes that.
Funny: Noelle's not hilariously but does have her amusing moments. She may not make you laugh but she will make you smile! XD
Energetic: Noelle has lots of energy. It goes with her optimism.
( WEAKNESSES ) :
Too Trusting: Noelle is a highly trusting girl. She's never had any reason not to trust anyone she has lived a fairly sheltered life and has not been exposed to the harshness of life. She's not street wise or tough at all.
A little gullible: Noelle is easily manipulated. It's tragic how easily it can be to lie to her. It's easy for her friends to lie to her and really charming people too. Noelle isn't completely gullible or a complete push over though. She's got a lot of common sense and can recognise when something doesn't add up. She knows what she wants and you can't just tell her to change her mind. She would need a reason for that.
Sensitive: She's got a very open heart for everything to see. The only good thing is nothing keeps her down for long, but she can be hurt pretty easily.
Honest: Noelle is an open person and can give too much personal information away about herself. Her naivety can mean she's vulnerable to all kinds of predators.
Love: Noelle likes being loved up and so tends to fall easily and lots. (She is not easy).
A little shy sometimes
Doted: Noelle has a tendency to be doted. She has lots of common sense...when she wants to have it. Sometimes she can be dreamy and ignore the obvious, or miss it somehow. Hinting that you like her? She's not going to see it. Hinting that you don't like her? She's not going to see it. Noelle doesn't take subtlety too well.
( RIDDIKULUS! ) : Noelle's boggart is quite simple seeing her mother with a nose around her neck, feet not touching the ground, face a bloated blue. Noelle has not been able to overcome the boggart, nor as she made peace with her mothers attempted suicide. Should she ever defeat this boggart there is another right after of her mother informing her just how much she hates her, how she wishes she was never born and that her depression is all her fault.
( EXPECTO PATRONUM! ) : Noelle's best memory is getting her Prefects badge but doesn't have one powerful enough to produce a Patronus. She's not bothered though. Many wizards can't.
( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : Noelle's worse memory is finding her mother hanging from the ceiling.
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : to see her mother smile and laugh, followed by freedom from oppression by the Death Eaters
( PET PEEVES ) : People tapping during exams
Slytherins trying to trip her up
Laughing whilst drinking anything fizzy and it goes up her nose
( PERSONALITY ) :
Noelle is a very fun young woman. She isn't one to sit around, do nothing and laze. She can't stand the thought of dozing and being idle when work can be done. Noelle sleeps only 4-6 hours due to her sheer energy and dislike of wasting a second of time. (It hasn't occurred to her that she has a sleeping disorder which can lead to further problems) She likes to keep busy every second of the day and has fun working. She is a perfectionist so quality is more important to her than quantity. For Noelle, it is important to get everything right and it really bugs her if she isn't 100% happy with what she's done - a drawing, tidying her room, her homework etc.
Noelle is a mischievous girl. It's best to tease the people she likes and embarrass them. Seeing their cheeks turn bright red and their eyes horrified is a pet hobby. She means it only ever as fun and playful. There is no ill intent. Occasionally do a prank or two on an unsuspecting friend. She may even gather help. She'll happily watch some comedies and stand up comedy too if she's in the mood. She loves a good sense of humour and values it greatly in everyone she meets.
She is very passionate, bright and bubbly. She talks a mile a minute when she's extremely excited. She has a tendency to talk about everything and nothing - whether someone else is present or not. Noelle has a strong inclination to talk to herself or rather think out loud, to the extent it can often expand to an entire conversation before se realises. She can be quiet though, around new people she's a little shy and is very considerate. She can make conversation but she is initially a little conservative with new people usually when she's feeling sad or reflective. Noelle can talk quite happily wihtout anyone listening and can have whole conversations without anyone paying true attention.
What Noelle does in life she does with full gusto. She does not believe in half measures or attempts. She grabs the bull by it's horns and stares it in the eyes. If Noelle is going to do something she'll do it to the best of her ability. It's easy to say she loves living and isn't afraid to try anything (and if she is afraid she isn't likely to admit it. She does have good survival instincts but can go agianst them.) In fact new things are rather exciting and perhaps romantic.
She lives at a fast pace and likes to keep busy. It may seem like she's steaming ahead but she always makes sure the people she's with keep up.
Noelle is a sweet, giving girl with a generous nature and a kind disposition. She's very charitable and is more than willing to buy the homeless man coffee and a sandwich everyday and give money to charity. She lends money and other items to friends easily. She also is gullible and of average intelligence. She can believe non-sense sometimes but her nature is trusting and understanding so this isn't surprising. She's not afraid to admit when she's being daft or is wrong but isn't likely to admit she's scared. However she's not heavily impressionable. She knows what she likes and what she wants to do and will stick to her guns. She likes helping others and is willing to drop everything at a moment's notice.
A fiery temper lurks beneath the excited, happy temperament. Noelle fears very few things and is happy to yell her annoyance out at you. Also, arguments should be completed and resolved before they part so they do not fester. She can take offense easily (although in general does not) and is not afraid to try new experiences. She likes fun, excitement and certain kinds of fear. Life is thrilling.
Noelle is also a very emotional person. She can't really well and values honesty too. She holds a lot of opinions and doesn't care what others think however she has a very tender heart which is easily hurt by anyone. She decides to let in. If Noelle is hurt she'll cry about it, stew a little but carry on. She's not vindictive, vengeful or full of hate or anger. She's very tolerant and forgiving towards most crimes against her but is sterner towards those who hurt her friends (unless she's friends with them too). She believes in justice and honour. Noelle is an honourable lady. She keeps her word.
She doesn't like to be judged and can be quiet if she feels the person she is interacting with is doing so. Thus, she can be a target for bullies but isn't going to let them get away with it! She'll prank anyone who is mean to her, or her friends and will argue loudly back.
She's the valiant champion of those who are being mistreated. Only she gets a bit nervous and stumbles over her words and can get laughed at because of that. She's a strong girl though and is very resilient. She's fun bright and bubbly and can seem sometimes not to take the world seriously but she does and she can. She's extremely sensitive and can be easily hurt. She's very compassionate and empathetic and feels injustice keenly.
She is extremely loyal, honest and reliable. If she says she's going to do something she'll do it, or the second she realises she can't will come speak to you - and hopefully you can find another way. She hates the thought of anyone being mad at her.
She's one of the most caring people around. She will stop everything to assist anyone who needs it. If someone else hurts, she hurts too. She is easily moved by movies, books etc. She can't walk by anyone in the street who looks like they are in trouble.
She's not afraid to go ahead and do what it takes to get what she wants. She's not easily put off and will persevere. She's quietly ambitious, hardworking and determined. Telling her no will only stop her for only a small portion o time, before she devises another way.

( PARENTS ) : Geoff Benne - no idea where he is[/blockquote]
Nadine Carter - psychiatric institution.
( SIBLINGS ) : Addy - 23
( OTHERS ) : Cousin James Potter
Uncle Harrison Potter
( HISTORY ) :
Noelle was born to a mother who never wanted her. At least that's the way she views it. She loves her mother very much, and keeps such dark thoughts to herself. It was no ones fault Noelle was born, nor that there were complications in her birth. She learned later, her birth had not been an easy one. Although she had been fine herself, her mother had not faired so well. It hurt her to know her birth had almost cost her her mothers life, and also her sanity. Noelle blames herself for her mothers post-natal and continual depression.
Noelle loved Addy, her big sister, very much, as well as her cousin Jamie, who they had grown up with. Noelle knew her sister loved her very much and was a cosntant figure in her younger years. Noelle, surprisingly, never disliked her sister or particularly fought with her. She liked to please people even at a young age and so went along with Addy's games. She had a constant companion in her big sister and so didn't make friends the way a little girl should because she never understood the need for them. She had her sister and cousin. They were close. Should she need anything else? In fact, as a kid she was confused. She often called Addison mum and James her brother. It was only when her aunt explained everything that Addison became Sister an James became Cousin.
Noelle's younger years had emotional ups and downs. Happiness came in the form of her sister, cousin and aunt, who paid much attention to each other. She could find something to do with any one of them and found affection in them all. Her dad, she felt, distanced, due to her mother's emotional state. She had asked her Aunt once, if it was her fault that her mother was sad. She had asked why her mother was sad, why she never came out her room and why when she went in she either didn't respond or told her to go away. Noelle would attempt to try and speak to her mother but got no where, often resulting in lots of tears and running to her sister. She would sit outside her mother's room wishing she would come out or even respond.
Then Addy was leaving. Noelle knew to be excited. She was happy her sister was happy. She got everyone she could to tell her stories about Hogwarts and what awaited her too. Noelle laughed and giggled and listened to every single word her sister said.
Then she was gone.
And Noelle cried. She was lonely. She had never been without her sister before and Jamie was her cousin, not her brother. Her aunt had a family of her own, an although she saw her often, it wasn't the same as having her sister here. It was then Noelle had her first magical tantrum. Although her aunt had got her a nanny Noelle wasn't satisfied. She didn't like the stranger, she wanted what she knew. She refused to eat. In fact she kept magicing the food anywhere but on her plate. In the end it was on the floor, on the walls, even landing on the nanny herself. Having never been punished before, Noelle took it extremely badly and refused to speak but eventually the hunger got the better of her and she had to eat.
Noelle had never been happier to have Addy home. She clung to her like a limpit and whenever her aunt and cousin visited she clung to them too. She liked listening to Addy speak of Hogwarts and couldn't wait to go herself. She asked if Addy had to go back though, saying she didn't want her to go without her, but truthfully she didn't want to be stuck with her nanny and mother whom she never saw. She loved her mother and felt guilty that she didn't want to try and spend time with her. She didn't understand. Noelle was convinced it was her fault. She still does. It didn't matter that her mother claimed she was sick and she shouldn't bother her. She was her mother and she missed her. And then...she just stopped trying. Her mother didn't want her around. She grew to believe her mother didn't love her despite what her aunt and nanny told her.
As Noelle grew older she understood it wasn't because her mother didn't love her, nor because she couldn't but because she truly was ill and unable to help herself, let alone her child. She felt guilty for believing for so long she meant little to her mother but the idea that her birth had put her in this state remained. It wasn't long before she was 11 and attending Hogwarts and her sister would be in her last year too. She read Hogwarts a history before she went and spent the entire train ride excited. The size of Hagrid hadn't been a shock and she had immediately decided a hug was in order. She wasn't ashamed of that. He was funny.
Noelle was sorted into Hufflepuff and was very proud of it. She's not the brightest lightbulb, in fact, not as bright as her sister but that never bothered her. She was peaceable, excitable, bubbly, happy, optimistic, determined and eager to learn. Noelle managed to make quite a few friends in her first year through excited babblings and deciding to stick with a group of girls. Noelle did have friends but they were limited to 5 but she never needed more. She was never one for lots and lots of friends. She didn't know how to handle it being used to having only Addy and James for company.
Noelle found potions difficult but liked care of magical creatures, herbology, muggle studies, and charms and tranfiguration. she never liked the idea of DADA and had never been very good at it. She hated dinivination - she always felt sick in that room. She found an interest in astronomy.
Of course being a Hufflepuff had its disadvantages. Slytherins don't like anyone and regard Huffles as thick and not being particularly bright and taking potions she found herself the target of many jokes. She was once sent to the hospital wing for fingernails which wouldn't stop growing after her Slytherin partner poured some potion on her hands and had a rash that lasted 3 weeks and itched painfully. However she was well liked in Hufflepuff and resilient too. She cried in the dorm the first time but after that she refused and carried on. She never sought vengeance upon them.
Noelle was a fan of Quidditch but never played herself. She never worked up the courage. She spent most of her free time drawing, painting and designing. She learned she didn't want to have a strictly magical profession but loved fashion, both wizard and muggle and wanted to expand into that. She continued throughout Hogwarts getting EE s for everything except DADA for which she got a P and also for potions for which she got a P. She got an O for Charms.
She was extremely happy when she became Prefect and had celebrated.
When her mother tried to hang herself Noelle had been in the house working on some homework and failing. She had taken her aunts death very hard and hadn't stopped crying so her homework was basically just covered in smears. To this day she doesn't know what made her go up stairs to see what her mother was doing. None of them had taken Loreli's death well but their mother had taken it particularly badly. Seeing her mother hanging their had shocked and terrified her to the core. Screaming she used magic to free her mother and got her sister as quickly as she could. Noelle suffers nightmares of this when she's stressed and sees a Healer about it too. She then went to live with her sister before getting a place of her own and faking qualifications to get into Art School to which she got entrance after they considered her folio and interviewed her.

( ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE ) :
This strange new vampire was strange and ridiculous. To believe she could achieve on her own what Carlisle had achieved was astounding. It pointed towards an arrogance he had seen in many others. It was amazing Carlisle had achieved it on his own. She was from a place which should have hardened her and yet she appeared soft, frightened by what she saw, an not at all used to it. After three years Jasper had fully integrated and was a highly productive member of the army. Although sheltered from most of the horrors, her resilience to horror should have been raised, and yet, she appeared to have no hardened shell. Jasper had considered many things impossible in his world; vegetarian vampires was one of them, especially one who had never eaten a human in his entire life. The idea she could do it on her own was laughable. She claimed not to even know how to hunt humans, so how could she hunt animals? The principle was the same. And yet, that fire and gumption was what was required to succeed. the conversion was difficult, Jasper knew that it could be agony at times, but steely determination and perseverance would assist in the continuation against the temptation to forgo conforming and to revert.
Jasper watched Marty carefully. Her moody emotions had settled into what he could only call 'pensive', or 'contemplative'. It was the kind of calm which settled when someone was coming to a kind of slow realisation. He was aware he had a looser grip on his ability right now than he had had in some time. Slight emotional turns felt less like mole hills and more like vast rolling dunes. Jasper was dreading a large spike in emotion for that would surely feel like a mountain slamming into his being, jarring his soul and mind. He needed to get over this over sensitivity quickly. Not only was it beginning to grate on his own nerves, he was becoming agitated easily and reacting more openly to emotions than he would have liked. Normally he could filter the emotions and compartmentalise them but right now, he was responding in kind to Marty's emotions unintentionally. She had to know he was an empath, Maria had figured it out. Edward was a lifeboat of calm, whose experience in keeping level emotions was very handy right now. Jasper was glad he was here. Sometimes he required an anchor.
How did they all manage to get into these messes over and over? It was like they survived one disaster, lived with a little peace and then moved onto the new one. They had lived quite idyllically for the past few decades and now all the troubles were arriving at once. Jasper found himself frustrated at the fact they were at the middle of major cross roads an they were standing right in the middle getting hit by everything every which way. This time sucked right now. This was just too much at once. They were going to stretch themselves thin, maybe one more person could help, but they would have to keep an eye on her two. That made two unreliable, inconsistent vampires living in the house, another gift, another adjustment, another set of baggage. Perhaps there was no wise choice. "There is always control in this world. Whether you live with Maria, us, or find a companion of your own. Control exists," Jasper replied. "We will not manipulate you if that is your concern. There is of course a strong chain of command," Control was part of life, and took many forms. If Marty had not figured that out by now then she had a steeper learning curve ahead than Jasper initially thought. Life was full of orders, not matter how you disguised them. Some people were better at dealing with that than others.
If she went out into the world, tried to be a veggie and failed, then she could very well harbour feelings of anger and resentment. Jasper seemed to attract those emotions more than any other kind without particularly meaning too. If only he had taken her in then none of this would have happened. Except she coudlnt possibly know that. Wasn't that tragic? They really didn't need her coming back, but then, they didn't need Maria stomping over here either. It was a catch 22 no matter how you looked at it; and Jasper had been trying to decipher a way out which left him more than 70% satisfied. There was none. They were on this road now and they were just going to have to continue. He coudl see the very large one way signs. There would be no reversing or change of direction now. Jasper turned to her, regarding her question carefully. Destroy the Volturi? The Volturi who wiped out most of the Southern Covens one day because they felt like it? Destroy the Volturi who have the most powers in one place and a vast range of them too? How on Earth could you get passed the evil twins? "Destory the Volturi,"Jasper said in disbelief. She may very well want to, but actually doing so was another story. If Maria felt she could then she had either grown more arrogant than was good for survival, or had a very impressive trick up her sleeve. Jasper couldn't be sure they were mutually exclusive. "The Volturi are our Royalty. They make the laws. There's really only two important ones; no immortal children and keep the secret," Jasper informed her. "Southern Covens walk a fine line," He added. "And what does Maria have in her back pocket? There's no way I know of to stop Alec and Jane," not to mention Heidi, Chelsea, Demetri, Afton, Renata... They were also extremely well trained. It was crazy for one vampire to take on an army of 20 newborns, and so it was crazy for newborns to take on the Volturi. They knew how to dispose of them. Jasper looked at Edward. That would be a problem if it was true. Yet another. No good came from angering the Italian Coven.
