During her sixth year summer holiday and her sister’s fourth year, Rosemary snuck both of them out to celebrate her sister’s birthday and seeing the happiness and smile on her sister’s face was truly one of the happier moments Rose associated with her family.
( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : She was nine and her father had made no secret of wanting a day along with his son, no doubt to show him everything he couldn’t show his daughters. So, he made his wife and his daughters visit Alice Crouch, Rose’s aunt and his own sister. She’d been cursed several years ago and Rosemary had no idea why they had to visit her. Needless to say, seeing her aunt like that was not something a child wanted to witness.

( PET PEEVES ) : Messes, getting her clothes ruined, needing to explain herself to someone who she considers lower than her.
( PERSONALITY ) : Rosemary seems to be a typical pureblood spoilt brat. She’s vain, doesn’t like those who are beneath her, selfish, easily jealous and headstrong. She’s all that and more. In her opinion, who doesn’t like looking good? Just because she takes more time to get ready and pays more attention to her looks, she’s vain? As for those beneath her, if they’re poor or unattractive, really, shouldn’t they do something about it? Selfish? Rosemary knows the world is a cruel place. Better you than me, she always says. Stubborn? If she doesn’t stand her ground, she’s never going to get anything. As for being jealous, well, that’s just something she can’t help. Seeing someone else get more attention or getting something she doesn’t have is not something Rose likes.

Rose likes laughing. She’s very easily amused, sometimes not by things she should be amused about. Like a Mudblood being hexed in the hallways. Rose is a confident lady who makes her views known most of the time, having seen how being a subservient woman is like. Rosemary has a caring trait somewhere inside of her, but it’s not often shown for she believes it’s a weakness. She’s protective, but only of certain people who she cares for.

( HAIR ) : Rosemary has red hair, taking after her mother. The hair colour darkens or lightens, depending on the season. Her hair is naturally wavy and that’s how she usually wears it. It reaches until the middle of her back. Rose is rather pleased with her hair and its colour, as long as no one remarks how she looks like one of the Weasleys. Surely they can tell the difference between her and the Weasleys?
( EYES ) : The lady wishes she had lovely green eyes to match her hair. Unfortunately, her eyes are a plain brown/hazel. Still, Rosemary does what she can with them to make them stand out. Make up is a must.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Rose stands at 5’11”, a rather tall height for a woman. Or so her mother tells her. She doesn’t mind being tall and if the men are shorter than her with heels, then well, that’s too bad. She never thinks she’s slim enough but Rosemary knows better than to starve herself to get the ideal weight. As long as she’s not getting insults about her weight, she’s fine.
( ATTIRE ) : Nothing but the best for Miss Rosemary here. She likes fashionable clothing, smooth materials and basically whatever looks good on her. colours wise, nothing that clashes with her hair colour.

( HISTORY ) : Aaron Yaxley and Lorena Baddock were complete strangers before they met each other for the first time two months before they were to hold their wedding ceremony. Aaron was the only heir; he had a sister younger than him by ten plus years, and it was time for him to get settled down. Thing was, no one could quite tolerate the man. He had quite a reputation for being nasty, mean and generally not a pleasant person. That made Lorena Baddock perfect for him. She was the complete opposite, having been taught by her parents how to behave as the perfect trophy wife. She was easily manipulated into the marriage straight after finishing Hogwarts with the wealthy but nasty Yaxley heir.

It was barely over a year before the couple had their first daughter. It would take another few years (almost a decade) and four daughters before a male child was born to them. Rosemary Arlene Yaxley was the third daughter born to the Yaxleys. Her father was never pleased with having daughters. With each pregnancy and birth, he awaited the good news of a son. By the time Rosemary was born, Aaron had just about given up. Rosemary grew up mostly in the company of her sisters and mother. She was someone who liked attention and this was evident growing up in a home full of other girls. She threw a tantrum when she didn’t get her way. She tried running to her father, but that didn’t work. The man was not interested in his daughters.

It was when Rosemary was three that her mother finally gave birth to a son. Ever since her brother was born, Rose resented him. It didn’t help matters that her father paid the most attention to his youngest child and ignored his four daughters. Rose never stopped trying to get her father’s attention until she got into Hogwarts. After that, she discovered a better use of her time. Boys. On the train to Hogwarts, on a dare from some other boys, Rosemary had her first kiss with a boy whose name she didn’t even know.

When the rather tattered Sorting Hat was placed on her head, Rosemary was sorted into Slytherin. Of course, the young girl wrote a letter back to her parents the next morning and only got a reply from her mother. Oh, her mother tried to make it sound like her father cared, but Rose knew better. It hurt her, but she pushed it down and went on with her Hogwarts years. She was rather good at her studies, never at the top but still getting grades that allowed her to advance to the next year. She always got distracted by the boys though. They were such lovely distractions too. But, Rosemary knew better than to let them truly distract her. She might like them but they were always going to break her heart, so she broke theirs first.

Friends, foes, lovers, Rosemary has had them all during her Hogwarts years. For her NEWTS, Rose got excellent grades and she’s now training to be a Curse Breaker for Gringotts.
