( PERSONALITY ) : michelle is a real sweetheart. she's very compassionate and has to help people, no matter who they are. if someone is hurt she'll rush in to help them, even if it's not entirely safe for her. trying to stop her in a situation like this won't do anything, and telling her she could get hurt won't either. she's reckless when it comes to herself getting hurt and will run in without thinking through all the risks. she's also very stubborn, and it is nearly impossible to talk her out of something once she's made up her mind. even if she's wrong she's very adamant and won't be convinced otherwise. but the important thing is her heart is in the right place, and she doesn't mean harm on a soul. if someone who was absolutely terrible to her was hurt, she would help them without hesitating, she can't just stand by while someone is hurt and not do something about it. michelle takes her job very seriously, and all she's really wanted to do in life is become a healer at st mungo's. she doesn't let things distract her from her job, and is trying to stay away from a relationship so that she can concentrate on her job. this doesn't mean michelle doesn't know how to have fun though, she does, but she knows that there is a time and a place for having fun, and it's not at work where she's constantly busy and working.

( HISTORY ) : michelle, born the youngest of five children, grew up as a fairly ordinary child. her mother was the daughter of a squib and had shown no magic her entire life, it was believed that the magic her mother's grandfather had possessed did not carry down through his daughter. however just before michelle was born her elder brother felix showed that he possessed magic by levitating a pillow. michelle as a young child thought this was very fascinating and wanted to be able to do that too. after all young children like to copy their siblings, and the little girl was very upset when she found out she couldn't do what felix could.

throughout her whole childhood michelle was surrounded by other children to play with, whether her own brothers and sister or cousins or children in the community. she was never lacking in company. when michelle was only five (and her brother felix was eleven) he went off to hogwarts, a school for magic. michelle was extremely jealous of her older brother, she wanted to go to hogwarts too, she wanted magic. she and daniel (her brother closest to her age) who was eight at the time, hoped and prayed that they would receive hogwarts letters when they turned eleven, but their hopes fell over the years as neither of them showed any magic. daniel's eleventh birthday came and went without him getting his hogwarts letter, but he had lost all hope of joining their brother at hogwarts, and by the time michelle's eleventh birthday came around she had lost all hope too.

imagine that little girl's surprise when an owl swooped into the kitchen one morning and dropped a letter in front of her, announcing that she would be attending hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardy in the fall. she was ecstatic and couldn't have been more excited. though she had not shown magic as a child like felix had michelle had it, she had never dreamed that she might actually get to go to hogwarts with felix, but her dream came true.

felix took her to diagon alley that august to get her school supplies with him, and that was her first exposure to the magical world she had never truly thought she would be a part of. when michelle first went to the school as a wide eyed eleven year old felix was already sixth year. the little blond girl was sorted into gryffindor, the house her brother was also a member or, and she was very pleased about that. hogwarts was, well magical for her. everything about it enchanted and delighted her, from the classes to the ghosts that floated along the corridors.

in her second year michelle was attacked by a pureblood for being muggleborn. she lay unconscious in the hospital wing for three days and had to spend an entire week after the attack there until she was better. while michelle had been teased for being a muggle born by some of the slytherin students she had never understood the hatred some people held for muggle borns before the attack.

the rest of her years at hogwarts went smoothly, michelle did well in charms and potions, and not so well in transfiguration. even as a child she wanted to be a doctor of some sort, and as a witch she could be a healer at st mungos. so right out of school she got a job as a healer-in-training at the magical hospital. now two years later she is still training. she has always taken her job very seriously and doesn't mess around. she knows that how well she performs can mean life and death for the patient so she gets her job done, and she does it quickly and efficiently.
