( PERSONALITY ) : Demitri is a very easy going person. He’s calm and collected, seemingly never getting into an argument or fight. Except with his brothers, but that’s gotten lesser as he’s gotten older. He’s very polite, having been brought up that way. Dem’s unassuming, never really liking to boast about his achievements. There is a side to him that often thinks people are out to get him. So far it hasn’t manifested outwardly, like him jumping down someone’s throat and asking them why they’re looking at him that way. Dem has got moods, just like anyone but he tends to withdraw and can disappear of hours at a time. If he’s quiet during lessons, it’s most likely he’s being pessimistic about the world around him. Dem is also not a very organised person. He’s probably the untidiest of his siblings and has to be told constantly to clean up his room.

( HISTORY ) : Leonidas Pepper was the product of an arranged marriage. Annemarie was not. These two met when Leonidas was sent to England by his Ministry and got sent to Saint Mungo’s by a couple of highly skilled magical thieves. It was not a welcome he would have like to get. His wife had left him for another man and here he was, being robbed on his very first day in a foreign country. At least his healer was rather good looking. Annemarie had just become a fully pledged Healer and a Muggle-born. Leonidas was quite sure he wasn’t supposed to fall in love with her because of his family’s pureblood thinking but that was precisely what he did.

A year later, these two were married. All Leonidas had to do was to move from Greece to England to avoid his family and their craziness. Four years later, the Peppers family was more or less complete with four sons. Demitri Pepper was the second son. Growing up with three brothers was... not very pleasant. Leonidas encouraged the competition between his sons, not breaking up fights that occurred much to the chagrin of his wife. But there were also bonding sessions with each of his sons and in his own way, Leonidas taught the boys to love and care for each other.

However, it was evident that they were all very different. When each of them was sent off to Hogwarts, each of the houses gained a Pepper. Demitri was sorted into Ravenclaw. He’d asked his mother plenty of times what each of the houses meant, so he was rather pleased to be sorted into Ravenclaw. He didn’t have many problems with the other houses; he was quite diplomatic in a way. Dem always tried to stop the fights with any of his brothers before deciding that if he couldn’t stop them, he might as well join them.

In Ravenclaw, Demitri excelled in three subjects, Charms, Potions and Transfiguration. The rest? He was average. He also gave a shot at Quidditch in his fourth year, taking on the Beater position. Now in his sixth year, Demitri is ready to go on and embark on a career in Healing. Or a Dragon Tamer.
