( PERSONALITY ) : It’s easy to see why Myron was sorted into Hufflepuff. No other house wanted him. He’s not courageous or daring enough for Gryffindor. He’s certainly not smart for Ravenclaw. And Slytherin? The young man just lacks the ambition and cunningness that Slytherin house values. So with nowhere else left to go, Myron was shuttled into Hufflepuff. Not that he minded at all. Sure, he got a little made fun of at times, but he brushed it off. With his friends, Myron is very open. He probably has more acquaintances than most, since he makes it a point to know everyone by their first name. Plus, he likes to help random people. He doesn’t judge most people based on first impression and believe that everyone has a chance to prove themselves. And have second chances. Myron is not without his bad points, naturally. He asks way too many questions, some that really shouldn’t be asked at all. He brushes things aside when they hurt him, preferring to not think about them at all. Myron is somewhat impulsive, doing things without thinking them though, without considering the consequences. Like how he decided to tell a friend’s girlfriend that he was cheating on her. That was not a good thing to do.

( HAIR ) : Myron has longish hair, almost reaching his shoulders. It’s naturally wavy and brown in colour. Mryon would love to keep it longer but his mother makes sure he cuts it whenever he’s home for the summer.
( EYES ) : Normal chocolate brown eyes. It’s not a pair of extraordinary eyes with piercing gazes or one where his emotions can be seen openly.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Myron stands at 6’2”. He thinks he’s probably reached his peak height but who knows? Myron is definitely not someone muscular. He’s skinny as a stick and looks like he would break if he fell.
( ATTIRE ) : Myron definitely prefers Muggle clothing, his family is one that knows how to blend properly with Muggles. That said, Myron likes to stand out as well, so his clothes are mostly bought from thrift stores or he’d add something to any normal looking clothes he has.

( HISTORY ) : Harold Wagtail was a rather popular Quidditch player in his Hogwarts and younger days. Marybeth Quirke was a Squib. The marriage of these two was something of a surprise to many. Myron Jarvis Wagtail did not bother much about how his parents ended up together. From a young age, he was aware that his parents were happy. And that made him happy as well. Myron did not have a tragic childhood. He was a happy child. He had a toy broomstick and a tiny toy wand. But what fascinated the young boy was the microphone and guitar. While out with his mother one day in Muggle London, Myron spotted a guitar and that was the beginning of his obsession with it. Thinking it was something a child would grow out of, his mother brought him a guitar.

It was not something Myron grew out of. He taught himself how to play the guitar, found a friend who was interested in guitar as well and that was it. Eventually Myron started singing, what was a band without a lead singer right? True, two people didn’t make up a band, but Myron had no doubts he would find other like-minded people. His father was amused at how his son was adamant he would become a world famous frontman of a band, but let it be. He did not pressure his son into following his footsteps. Harold Wagtail had gone on to manage the team he started to play for and the Wagtails was not lacking in money to support themselves.

Myron was not expected to go into Hogwarts. Signs of magic were absent during his childhood and Marybeth was both ecstatic and heartbroken when the letter to Hogwarts came. Ecstatic because her son did have magic and heartbroken because she wouldn’t be able to hear his laughter around the house for a majority of the year. In Hogwarts, Myron was sorted into Hufflepuff, his father’s former house. Mryon was not at all displeased to be in Hufflepuff, though he quickly learned the prejudice towards the house and towards non magical folk in particular.

Now in his sixth year, Myron is still on his dream to create a band and he’s almost close to his dream. Almost.
