Dorcas is someone who is kind and loves listening to people talk, especially if they have some sort of story to tell. Knowledge is something which she thrives off of and more often than not you can find her with some sort of book on her person, that is, if she's not already reading it. Her new goal while her time at Hogwarts remains, is to find new people she has never once met before and become friendly with them, she wants to actually know people seeing as how she's mostly kept to the close inner circle she has and never really branched out, outside of that. Dorcas is not someone to judge, let alone know about to reputations that someone might have, so if someone is looking for a fresh start of sorts Dorcas would definitely be one of those people to go to. As for people who are lovers, Dorcas can say that she has never really hard that sort of relationship, sure people have told her they liked her and she's kissed them before, but it's never gone further than that. As for enemies perhaps people within her own household would see her as a sort of rival when it comes to grades, but besides that Dorcas has never really encountered someone who is her hostile nemisis or someone who she could say she truly hates.

They wouldn't know each other, I suppose? Or that would be Dorcas who doesn't really know who Regulus is. I think I'll have Reg notice her because of her looks and then be like, 'Oh Merlin, she's a Mudblood, what the heck am I supposed to do?' but still go ahead and hang out with her. Pretend to need help with his studies and whatnot. And he slowly finds himself falling for her. I suppose he could be all indifferent towards her if they're around people? And be totally seething inside when Sirius flirts with her. But in private, he's all nice and that causes confusion and etc etc etc.

I like this, I like this lots. Indeed they don't really know each other since of course, as you said, (I believe), that Regulus wouldn't spare her a second glance if she wasn't a pureblood in the sense of getting to know someone. But the excuse of needing help with studies with her works, she'd more than likely accept him right away. As for the falling she would probably be oblivious, from him to her and even her own feelings for him, to it at first and then the first time and then the first couple of times she sees him in public. With him acting differently towards her she would realize it and become not only confused about his sudden change but why it bothers her so much.

She'd totally be the sort of girl to go up and remain friendly to him, at least the first time since she's oblivious to the social standings and who is appropriate to hang out with who and that could be a real wake up call for her about that sort of thing? I dunno just a random idea.

besides order stuff and during class time, I don't see these two truly socializing with each other. Of course, when they were around each other Sirius would flirt with her, because let's face it; this is Sirius. and it would totally get regulus all green eyed and that would just be an added bonus for Sirius even if he does sometimes care for his brother

Sounds good to me. ^-^ Dorcas would probably be confused as to the flirting at first and end up saying something along the lines of something like, ohright. your that one guy who flirts around with everyone, right? She'd probably find him to be someone who, at times, especially with order matters, annoying but at the same time want to figure out what makes him tick from time to time. So then friendly acquaintances/classmates, with the side of flirtation, would be a way of summing the two up, correct?
I could see it as a possibility of friendship forming as time went on, probably not bestest buddies or the kind of people who would spend time together, but friendly enough, especially because of the order, to say that they're friends. If that is something that works out for you?
Plus who doesn't love making the younger brother turn a shade of green? xD

Them becoming buddies and making Reg even more jealous is a brillliant idea! i love causing misery for kimmy's kiddies I'm not sure what Sirius would think about someone trying to figure out. He'd be all "...I like girls...?" and be utterly confused no doubt. But yes, these two becoming buddies is lovely =)

Bahahah excellent! It'd be like, ohlol right so your brother who always flirts with me, among everyone else, is actually one of my buddies now. =P And yeah, she would sort of just want to know what goes on in his head, whether or not she would ever voice that odd thought of hers I'm unsure. Dorcas would probably just find him to be rather interesting? I suppose, he would up her curiosity for whatever reason. Though I think that kind of goes for anyone whose got a rather high reputation around the school? (If that makes sense).

Fo'sho. Good friends definitely, I could see them having a friendly grade related rivalry, but when it comes to the end they'll always be friendly and such with each other. Especially since the two will end up becoming Order Members together. I could see her being someone who requests information or thoughts on Regulus as well, even though from the sound of things they would be negative feelings. xD
