Lucius Tyson Malfoy received the greatest honor a pureblood superior could. The summon, the scarlet red blood sealed letter that contained his initiation mission. The mission was described as to a silly girl. His year, a hufflepuff. Lucius had squinted his nose in disrespect. Had the Dark Lord seriously given him a tiny girl a measly girl? What did he think Lucius Malfoy was? He continued to read, a Dippet at that. Was he considered lower then Bellatrix? This was embarrassing if nothing else, Abraxas was probably cursing as he rotted away in hell. That’s when the word crossed his eyes. Seer. So she was an important Dippet? Who knew such a thing existed. He rolled his eyes continuing to look down the list. His goal was to spy on her and confirm if she was a potential spy, and gather the names of those close to her. Wow, this was actually rather intriguing. Perhaps the Dark Lord knew of his cunning, and well to be modest way with ladies. It was an honor in his eyes, and he was to take it with pride. He placed the note in his back pocket and began his mission. First to find the girl. Sharlan Cozair Dippet. Once Lucius found her, she was indeed a pretty little thing. She wasn’t gorgeous, she wasn’t stunning, she was a pretty little thing indeed. Her mouth turned Lucius off though. The girl spoke in tongues.
Granted, with a curse to seal the small girls mouth, she would be quite attractive. Then again, Lucius always took pride in…pretty things. Within moments of spotting the girl on the lawns she was down within seconds. Was this a trick? He narrowed his eyes at her and walked towards her. She was down for the count, she was hardly moving at all. A coincidence? Perhaps a revelation? Lucius used his foot to prop her right hand over, she was wearing a rather thick black jacket. Lucius kneeled over her, sitting her up. He pulled down the sleeve to see the all Seeing Eye tattoo. Yes, that was it. She was indeed a seer. Perhaps she was busy lying still in revelation to be to late to see herself? He looked down to see random divination cards, he rolled his eyes. He was certainly not mistaken. This had to be her. He brushed the brown locks of hair from her face. Lips like a goddess, she was not half bad. Of course his heart was locked on Phae, no woman compared to her. But Sharlan was a mystery, something he couldn’t have because she was going to belong to someone else. Perhaps that’s what made her so attractive. He pulled the small port key that was provided from his backpack. Well, this was simple enough.
Damit. He forgot to spy on her. He needed to know loved ones. He rolled his eyes reaching into her knapsack drawing the pages. There was a ridiculous dedication to one Remus Lupin, Kirley Duke, Peter Pettigrew, Myron Wagtail, Mollie Podomore, and an Alice Logan. This was so simple. Would he possibly be favored by the Dark Lord simply for his amazing timing? It looked as if Remus Lupin and Kirley Duke were the girls love interests. How precious. Kirley Duke was a year younger, and from the girls scribbling it appeared Remus didn’t give her the time of day. Lucius swore the bloke was solely into males. How would Lupin deny a woman like this? Or perhaps the talking, that was always a turn off. He quickly sent diffindo towards the booksack and tarot cards shooting them towards a nearby bush. He tucked the diary into his back pocket, before holding the small basilisk charm in his hand, holding Sharlan’s hand in the other. He closed his eyes and slowly the images around them faded. Images started reappearing that represented cast iron gates. They were here, Lucius was granted permission to know of the Dark Lord’s whereabouts. An honor. Of course he still had a problem with being a follower for the rest of his life but perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad.
Lucius picked Sharlan up and held her over his shoulder, walking past the gates up to the doorway. The door was already half open. Lucius found this strange, but of course the first rule of being around the Dark Lord was to never question him. Lucius carried Sharlan into the room. He wondered how long these black outs lasted. He laid the girl down in the middle of the floor, keeping the diary in hand. He wasn’t one to wander, Abraxas had taught him well. He heard something, turning he noticed Sharlan move her hand, he quickly pulled his wand out. With a single curse the hand dropped back down, just a mere stunning spell. She would revive within a few minutes. Just enough time to talk and update the Dark Lord on his findings before the girl woke. Lucius eyed her once more, maybe it was just his taste in brunette woman. Perhaps it was the fact that she was sought after by the Dark Lord that made her appear dangerous but whatever it was, Lucius was finding himself wanting her. Lucius shook his head trying to re-focus.
“My lord,” Lucius started, kneeling next to Sharlan’s stunned body. “I have brought the Hufflepuff Seer, along with a list of names,” Lucius replied. His voice not shaking, or nervous a bit. Abraxas taught him the authority tone worked best. It counted you amongst the trusted. Lucius didn’t like the idea of following but he received an O in kissing ass and if he was to please the Lord, he was would do it in mere style and grace. He would make sure he was counted amongst the trusted. He wished to succeed his father. He wished to show up his father. Lucius looked up waiting for a reply. Perhaps he should have spoke louder. Patience. He remembered that as another lesson. Gray eyes scanned back to Sharlan then towards his shoe. His kneeling presence was a little demeaning to Lucius Malfoy. He never bowed, this would be hard. But he would also find a way to get used to it. He bit down on his lips waiting, Lucius was never good with silence.
