It was a slow day, the classes seeming to flow by sluggishly one by one until there was nothing left to do, which seemed to make the day even slower. It was good work, he got a place to stay, meals, and money, but in exchanged he had to endure the questions of students all day long, mostly from those who were interested in the subject but had very little talent for it. Of course, there were also many student who had taken the course for an easy grade and tended to make things up in the class. He could tell mostly which ones were not true predictions, but he could not fault them for not having any gift of sight required for the subject. Tsukasa did tend to advise those kids that switching to another course would probably be more beneficial to them as soon as he was sure they did not have the talent. For those that kept the class he simply would give them an Acceptable. He was not going to give them an easy O just because they showed up, but he was not going to fail them because of their lack of ability either. It was really dependent on the student as well.
He wandered across the room to stare out his window, his cat Akari, a little black feline with an underlay of darker stripes that were visible in the sunlight, weaving between his feet as he stood. Tsukasa still had some things to grade, but it was not much and he was almost finished with it. Other than that he could laze about all day, but such a prospect really did not appeal to him at the moment. Being efficient with his time left him with more time that he really had nothing to do with. He had already finished quite a few books from the library and would have to return them and perhaps get a few more. From where he was unsure since he had read the vast majority of his school life already and was only continuing where he left off now as a professor. He seriously needed something to do, besides reading. Hearing a soft meow from below he looked down at Akari and sighed. Once she had his attention she gave a longer meow, causing him to sigh again and flip out his wand, waving it at a little mouse toy and causing it to run around the classroom, Akari hot on its tail in play.
He loved his cat, but right now he was not in the mood. Still, he could not let her be ignored. Tsukasa moved over to his desk next, putting the papers he had yet to grade to the side and pulling out a divining crystal. He sat down and let the crystal hang from his fingers by the connecting chain, silently consulting it and watching its movements carefully. If his mind's eye was a little blurred to events he would often consult this crystal to see if he could get a better interpretation. For now he would ask if anything interesting was in his future for the rest of the day. It simply began to spin in a circle, unsure. Of course his definition of interesting might be the differing point on this matter. His lips frowned a bit and he placed the crystal down on his desk, rising again to grab his outer robe in preparation for going outside. He was wearing his usual white shirt with puffed sleeves and a vest over it. His legs were covered by black slacks and his feet by black shoes. Obviously he did not know what he wanted to do, but he wanted something to get him out of this routine. But what was the question. He walked back over to the window for a moment, placing a hand on the wall and leaning as he looked out, trying to figure what he really wanted to do. He really hated when he got like this.
