So this here is Adair, he's a Hogwarts professor and he teaches Arithmancy. He's very withdrawn and he barely ever shows much emotion due to his mental ill -- he is a paranoid schizophrenic as listed above. No one knows about his illness though aside from the headmaster, or else he probably would not be able to teach at Hogwarts. He keeps himself well medicated so that no one knows about it as well. In terms of plotting he will have a good handful of students, he likes to keep his classes complicated which results in an overflow of students attending his office hours. I think that just due to how hard his class and how many people struggle with it he'd probably have more than a few enemies among his students -- or just general dislike going on there. As aforementioned he likes to keep to himself so many people find him strange and weird because he doesn't really socialize much, I can see his colleagues thinking just about the same. Despite his anti-social nature he is very brilliant when it comes to anything mathematical or logical, which is why he does so well teaching Arithmancy. He doesn't have many friends, if any at all, mainly everyone will be an acquiantance or something close to the surface. For more info on him you can read his bio, which can be found here.
