Claudia entered the Three Broomsticks. She loved how she could make heads turn when she entered a room. The whole room appeared to lay eyes on her. She flashed a sophisticated and very refined smile as she passed what she liked to call her 'adoring fans.' Was she slightly egotistical? Yes and she loved it. She stepped up to the counter and ordered a firewhisky before sitting down at a spare table. Some people were still looking at her but most of the room had gone back to their own conversations. Once she was seated she removed her ever expensive Burberry trench and her scarf Claudia even removed her leather gloves. It was rare for people to see her without leather gloves on it was sort of a trademark for her but today she was wearing a short sleeve dress and her leather did not go with the dress especially since the gloves were brown not black. Claudia was all about matching and if her outfits didn't match she would go insane. Claudia actually had her weeks worth of outfits organized. Everything looked the same so it was strenuous, she was a Burberry girl.
Claudia loved going to her family's house for Thanksgiving and Christmas because they often got her Burberry as a present. Her family had a Burberry store not far from where they lived. That simple thought caused her to crave Vienna. Vienna was her absolute favorite place. Claudia actually had to be pried away from the solace of her home when she was a little girl. She shrugged off the thoughts due to the fact they brought back nasty memories. She smiled gratefully when her drink came. She sipped on it intently wondering when she would be able to go home.
Her husband knew how much she hated London, how much she wanted to go home. She didn't like losing base with her home so much considering her job and her position in the wizarding world. Whenever Claudia was missing even for a week it was noticeable. Claudia's parents begged her and her brother to come home more often, to bring the kids. It made her sad that her children couldn't see her grandparents more often. Claudia didn't make that fact known after all it would be embarrassing for them to know she actually cared so much. Claudia was very close to her parents. They were the only people who ever saw her when she was upset or when she was emotional. They knew her before the facade went up not being able to be around her mom and dad everyday sort of took a toll on her.
She called them everyday to make sure they were still doing alright, she even had her kids talk to them. She expressed to Jason that she wanted to move back to Vienna the moment her parents' health declined. Claudia knew this would be hard considering her job as Auror but she was going to somehow pull it off she had to. Her brother had volunteered but Claudia had made a promise to her parents when she was twenty one. To get her mind off of her parents and Vienna she removed her tube of lipstick from her purse and applied carefully.

Bellatrix Black was a woman who knew she was beautiful, like most women of the House of Black. With her ebony hair, dark eyes and tall, elegant structure, she was someone who stood out in a crowd. Unlike her youngest sister, however, this beauty was not something she relied on. It could be practical for manipulating people, certainly, but anyone would have to admit Crucio did it better. If torture couldn’t get her what she wanted, she honestly couldn’t see how it mattered if she was pretty or not. There was one person - and one person only - she even occasionally wondered how might think she looked, and it certainly wasn’t her fiancé. Oh, Rodolphus was just lovely, of course, but he couldn’t even begin to compare with the Dark Lord.
Was it ridiculous to want to look good for the man who was effectively her boss and would probably – no, definitely – murder her if she turned out to no longer be useful? Yes. It was completely irrational. Then again, Bella wasn’t exactly known for her rationality, and she had all the money in the world to spend on whatever silly things she liked. That was one of the many privileges of being the closest thing there was to wizarding royalty. There wasn’t anything about her life she would want to change – not even her engagement. Although she was not in love with Rodolphus Lestrange, he was undeniably a good-looking man, a pureblood and in a position of power. Since she couldn’t have the Dark Lord, chances were she couldn’t do much better than this.
Anyway, for once, Bella was in Hogsmeade for a reason other than to see one of her sisters. Shopping. Yes, she could have gone to Diagon Alley, but there, she would have run the risk of encountering one of her fiancé’s colleagues or some other random person who felt they were entitled to speak to her. The worst were the muggle sympathizers, the ones they thought that they could convince her to change her point of view. Usually, the moment everyone else was out of sight, she’d cast a few silencing charms before using her favorite spell on them once or twice. Crucio was a beautiful thing, causing so much pain without leaving any evidence on the bodies of it victims. It could drive them mad, though. She liked that idea as well.
Yes, she was a twisted woman, there was no doubt of that. She was proud of it, too – and as she entered The Three Broomsticks, the main reason heads turned was not her beauty, but with the confidence she carried herself. Well, all right, the beauty probably helped as well, but a poise like hers could make anyone think they were in the presence of a celebrity. None of these people mattered to her, though. None, that was, except one particular woman who caught her eye. Within a few brief moments, Bella had made her way through the room and stood by Claudia’s table, smiling at the older woman. ”Are you so desperate to leave London that you’d rather be here now, Claudia?” she asked, her dark eyes gleaming with amusement. - - - - - - - - 530 word post for claudia with lyrics from opheliac by emilie autumn and i’d like to add that ---

A rather intoxicating smile made way on Claudia's bright red lips as her violet blue eyes met the face of one Bellatrix Lestrange. Bella and Claudia had met approximately four years ago. Bella was merely a young teenager and Claudia herself much younger. Claudia had latched onto the young hopeful and watched over her. She wasn't one to latch onto people younger than herself, not even her own kids, but Bella had proved that statement false. Their relationship was weird for Claudia, after all she wasn't the warmest person. That statement alone was fuel for their relationship. Ironically Bellatrix was a cold fish as well.
Upon the arrival of Bellatrix, Claudia closed her lipstick and gracefully, as always, placed it back into her purse. With that she motioned for the younger woman to sit after all she didn't like her favorites, those few, to feel unwelcome. When it came to Bella, Claudia had to try her hardest to hide herself away. Just as she had to do with the rest of the world. Her relationship with Bellatrix was extremely tricky considering her secret. Claudia had been harboring the secret for the longest of time. No one knew of it except for those who needed to know. Claudia herself was on a need to know basis and most people didn't need to know. She was far more complex than she put on.
Sometimes she herself questioned her decisions in life. If she had chosen a simpler path would she be more accepted? She often pondered that very question in the still of night and in the bright of morning. Many pulled away from her because she was required to keep her self detached. The only reason she actually married was because she was going through a fad of wanting to be wanted. Once it ended, a year later, she realized her grave mistake. She had gone so many years with being withdrawn that being married was a very extreme jump.
"Now, now do you even have to ask that question?" She said with a raised brow. At home. In Vienna. At home in Vienna she was allowed to be someone. She was allowed to be herself. Here in the wizarding world she was Claudia Lockhart in Vienna she was Claudia Brigitta Muller. Emotional detachment wasn't required when she was alone with her parents and her other family. The only people who actually knew her for what she truly was were her parents and to some extent her brothers and sisters. She could cry without getting looked at with a strange expression and she could laugh because something was funny not because something was being done sadistically to a mudblood or to someone begging for mercy. "I'm just scoping things out, the usual." Again she was detached. The detachment was obvious in her eyes and even, to some extent, in her voice.
