SPOILED AND ARROGANT: Darling Alecto’s childhood ruined any chance at her being humbled at any point in her lifetime. She gets what she wants, or she fights and take it. Though life is rarely that easy, she believes, for her, it is. She’s known nothing else. Alecto, naturally, can play silly and be ‘awed’ by a fine man’s words, or ‘impressed’ by someone similar, she will not have it that someone is better, wiser, smarter than she. Except the Dark Lord, that goes without saying. She’d be quite stupid to think her better than him. But the above-average witch or wizard off the street? ”Oh darling, you really must be joking.”

AMBITIOUS: As previously stated, Alecto believes nearly everything is within her reach, and she will do anything to make the ‘just-out-of-reach’ fall easily into her hand. She is no stranger to hard work; her Hogwarts years trained her to do so. Her outgoing attitudes and relentless dedication puts her above the crowd and makes her noticeable, which, of course, is always a help to her when she desires something. “I don’t go after things…why? Well, because they desired me first!”

RELATIONSHIPS/PHYSICALITY: Sex is basic human instinct. Being drawn to what is called beautiful is also human instinct. So, naturally, Alecto’s favorite pastime is time spent ravishing another. To Alecto, sex is about power just as much as it is about pleasure.She learned quickly that the easiest way to go places was to promote her strengths, her best being her sex appeal. Alecto is beautiful, yes, but there are just as, or more, beautiful than she. However, not all women can play the mind of the man into believing that they are the most beautiful, absolute best woman alive. Trickery and manipulation, coupled with this, can be lethal. Though her mother was rumored to be a veela, and many have thought the same of Alecto, none of these rumors have been confirmed. But they were never denied, either… “Playthings, really.”

FANATICAL/ZEALOUS: Though Alecto’s physical appearance drives most of her personality, there is an undeniable trait that has no connection. Since childhood, Alecto was known for her odd perceptions of reality, her frequent hysteric dreams and nightmares, and her ever erratic actions. Her mother, who loved to fuel Alecto’s spawning creativity, often wondered if Alecto simply had a short attention span and a vivid imagination. Her large, captivating eyes are often wide and moving, She can stare into nothingness for hours on end, prone to frenzied laughter. These characteristics make Alecto’s next move rarely predictable, and Alecto, herself, hard to trust and difficult to handle. “You don’t need to understand it, because I do just fine.”

( HISTORY ) : Jean François Carrow, in his day, was a wealthy wizard living in the south of France (Bordeaux, to be exact). He owned a chain of French wizard banks for the rich, whose popularity grew from their implicit guarantee: No Goblins. What he lacked in good looks and charm, he made up for with his immeasurable power and wealth…which is exactly what Regina Roux was looking for.

Being a great beauty, Regina had no trouble catching the eye of the aging Carrow (there were always rumors of veela blood, but they were never confirmed). Conspiring, however, was slightly more of a challenge. It was not coaxing him to leave the contents of his will to her that was the trouble, no. 6 years of marriage and 2 children was not as much a bother either. Rather, once she decided it was time to kill him, it took days for her to think of a spot for the body. And then she, her darling daughter Alecto, and her charming son Amycus, were off to a new home in La Rochelle, many galleons richer, leaving Jean François Carrow’s mysterious murder behind.

Through her entire childhood, Alecto was given the best of everything, it seemed. All the clothing, jewels, dolls, animals she’d ever need were enough then. Then she began her magical education, and that definitely changed. Being afforded only the best, as always, Alecto’s mother sent her to London for schooling, refusing to admit her to Beauxbatons Academy. Alecto’s years at Hogwarts, though she would never admit, were spent in very serious preparation for the future. Hogwarts was new territory. It was place to experiment with the delightful gifts she inherited from her mother: beauty, cunning, and a desire for power. However, the many hours not spent on frivolity were dedicated strictly to school work and to embellishing on her talents. Her mother had taught her well; Alecto knew that talent alone could never get one by, she needed practice. For her 5th year and on, she remained undefeated in dueling club, and received top marks on her Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Charms, and Transfiguration OWLs and NEWTs.

These things did not go unnoticed. Once out of school, it was not long until she was coaxed to join another association, the Death Eaters. She was accepted into their legion easily, her naturally fixating persona a great help. After a year or so, due to the mysterious disappearances of Thomas Twilfitt and Trevor Tatting, both advocates for muggleborns’ rights, Alecto took up the shop herself. At night, it was an ideal location for Death Eater meetings, and it supplied her with a steady income of galleons (though, with monthly pensions from her mother, this mattered very little).
