Remus 'Moony' John Lupin ::Marauder::Werewolf::Gryffindor::7th Yr:: Prefect::Reserved::Perceptive::Kind::Helpful:: Mini Personality This is Remus John Lupin AKA Moony. He is one of the famed, and often dreaded Marauders. He's a difficult guy not to like and has been asked why he's friends James, Peter and Sirius when they appear to be so different. The truth? Remus Lupin is mischevious and playful. He truly loves pranks but knows not to take anything too far. And he's a werewolf: his friends have proven to be true.
Moony would tell you that he doesn't make friends easy. He constantly maintains a kind of distance between everyone (barring the Marauders) and himself due to his status as a Werewolf. He's introverted but not shy and is in fact quite confident. Unlike his friends though, Remus is not arrogant and knows to doubt his abilities.
Friends Remus is very open to conversation and is perfectly willing to help anyone at all, with anything at all. There are very few matters which are too large for him to handle, and there is nothing too small. Remus's crippling need for poeple to like him, and to be needed, means he's likely to drop what he's doing to help you out which means he's easy to walk over. The Marauders, however, have far more leeway than anyone else and if Remus doesn't like the fact you're taking advantage he'll simply try to distance himself from you, but as ever, will remain polite and kind. He's good for someone to talk to, a shoudler to lean on, just company. If you need help with anything and don't want to shouted out he's the one to ask. Moony doesn't judge and is more than willing and capable of listening. Enemies Remus doesn't go about shooting off spells, or being mean to people. He tends to stay out of confrontations and is generally a passifist. He sees no point in petty squabbles (such as the one with Severus, until Snape made it real by calling Lily an awful awful word), or getting into scraps for the fun of it. For Remus they are not fun at all. However, Remus wil defend his freinds quicker, more fiercely and more often than he will defend himself. Slights to himself may go ignored but not when he you insult his friends (depending upon who and what it is - for example, he doesn't need to defend Sirius because he'll be very quick to do it hismelf, but he will back him up). Love Remus is highly resistant to love. Remus doens't love. He's too dangerous for that sort of affiliation. This of course, doesn't stop him having crushes and fancying people. Remus doesn't have the best social skills and has no idea how to act around someone he likes. in this respect he is shy and timid. With platonic females Remus does just fine, but he's never been in a situation romantically, or been instructed as such because he feels he'll never find a girl willing to put up with his issues. Plus, he's just way too dangeorus and way too poor anyways. So, Anyone Wanna Play?

FRANK WOOO. ELLIE WOOOOO Well I just got accepted yesterday. Fastest acceptance on record! And I've been around a bit JAMES AND REMUS: Since you missed me appy there is but a couple of tings you should know: Remus has discovered he had a brother (aptly named Romulus - I just could't help it), who was three at the time of THE INCIDENT and followed his big and idiotic brother out into the woods but didn't survive. He's feeling more than a little guilty. Also his mother has just died from Cancer in the summer. It's a very depressing, morose time for ma wee favourite wolfie. So he's you know...down in the dumps, shall we say? FRANK AND REMUS Well Remus did need some sanity in his life and Merlin knows he ain't gonna get it from his friends. He loves them dearly, he really does but sometimes you just need to kick back and relax with a guy who isn't completely bonkers XD. Got any plotty ideas from that drivel lol?

James&&Remus- Sad story! Well I actually made James' mother pass as well( Needed an out to figure out why he changed so much, and why Lily fell for him.) For now, Lily and James are just getting started because he's "matured" according to Lily. He now realizes he could loose anyone at any given moment. He has met death, and he's not a fan. So maybe James will feel comfortable sharing that with Remus since no one knows, and they could bond without playing pranks on people! Frank&&Remus- Haha oh yeah, they both need sanity. Frank has been dubbed all the girls besties who is stuck between the boys they like and vs versa. Then he's friends with the bonker trio as well. So I can see Remus and Frank enjoying quiet time together. Frank is super into music and art, and Remus is all about peace and reading. I can see them def. helping each other out. Maybe Frank can help Remus express himself through art since he's going to be going through a lot of emotions/confusion.

JAMES AND REMUS: Oooo very nice. Well yes, I did think it was a sudden change. Change can happen suddenly but with a personality like James it isn't likely to happen overnight (and it seems to in the book). I've always just imagined Remus's mammy dying earlier on than I put in the app, but it seemed to fit XD. Yes that would be nice. He'll definately need to talk about it at some point and he's not even going to imagine approaching Peter (¬_¬ ), and serious isn't something Sirius does well - no doubt he'll tell him at some point but there's really no bonding there. Always felt a bit sorry for Remus actually - James is Sirius ultimate best friend, and Sirius is Jams's ultimate best friend whilst Remus is just kinda 'close'. Maybe helping each other through losing their mothers at the same time. ((Remus WILL try and hide it of course. it's what he does))
if you can understand that garbled reply XD
FRANK AND REMUS: Yes. perhaps encouraging Remus to draw and write might help. He's always one for bottling things up and since he's long since been friends with Frank, he'd notice Remus is more...down than usual? And keep pestering him to talk? (in a nice but firm way of course) Might be nice and good for him since Frank isn't so close.
is any of this helpful?

ISABELLA AND REMUS: BEST friends. I'm thinking Remus is one of the only ones she trusts and will actually talk to. They are VERY similar in many ways. They both love to read and they both have a lot of similar personality traits. Isabella also lost her father at a very young age so she can connect to Remus and perhaps help him pull through better than she did.
SOPHIA AND REMUS: Friends as well. Sophia is sane and quiet so I think they'd suit each other well. Perhaps they can be study buddies or something like that.

James&&Remus- Haha, yeah. It's more of James is super confused. Because his life was always just handed to him on a silver platter. This is the first real tragedy in his life hit him super hard. Yeah James isn't exactly handing out open invitations of what happened. He's trying super hard to keep up the act, so while covering his own problems it might take him longer to notice Remus' problems. Maybe they blow up at each other once? Not sure why something silly. But James will freak out because he's basically scared of everyone suddenly leaving him. Which could lead to a rare moment of actual deep talking. Neither of them can exactly talk about to Sirius and yeaaah not so much Peter. (I know poor Remus =( ) Frank&&Remus- I like it! Frank is pretty in tune with his friends feeling so he would be the one to notice. And yes, super art freak he'd bring up something like expressing it through art or something. Maybe it could lead to some lessons and their friendship becomes even closer.
&&&Maybe that's what James and Remus fight about? How close Frank and Remus get. James feels like Remus is replacing them. Then Remus can get in his face of being the man left out of the duo.

ISABELLA AND REMUS: Remember Remus bottles so it'll be a struggle getting what's wrong out of him! XD He's awkward like that. Yup! He needs a female friend who isn't Lily Evans. He does like talking with girls tooo. I'll need to read your app though so I can get a feel for her but yeah, they should read together and swap stories and stuff.
SOPHIE AND REMUS: Study buddies! YEAH! They should. Remus can give her his reading lists and stuff and pointers where to look (and vice versa). And yeahhhhhhh they should study together and help each other with projects and stuff?

JAMES AND REMUS:: Yes! You have good ideas! I like you. You ish full of goodness XD Makes me warm inside. hehehehehe Yes! They should totally kind of blow up at each other and have an 'Oh...this is odd' moment what's wrong with you I wonder? Remus, usually intuitive and perceptive, maaayyyy notice James is acting a strangely (but then James has always been a bit strange and he's too preoccupied with his own issues). Ummm....why? Borrowing the map without telling? The invisibility cloak? Remus getting annoyed at James for asking to copy his notes (again - he should be used to it by now hehe). remus'll be particularly snappish if it's around the full moon. Ooooo, asking James not to come around this time because he knows the wolf will be extra angry (even with their influence?) and is terrified of badly hurting them? Dorm room then? FRANK AND REMUS: Awwwww. yes. that's a good idea. I can see them drawing and becoming really close right now XD It'll be nice to have a friendship that isn't prankster central. Not sure where to set it though. Perhaps somewhere out the way? (follow REmus?)

James&&Remus- I modified the end of the last post about maybe James is freaking out because Remus is hanging out with Frank more then the marauders. Doom, doom,doom. Then yeah because Remus is near full moon or just too much stuff going on he's actually snapish. It might take Remus to actually snap at James before James realizes somethings wrong. (doh!) Idiot. Anyways. That's what I got. YOUR FULL OF GOODNESS TOO. I'm so excited to start these plots! Frank&&Remus- Awh! YAY! And the two aren't girl obbessed. Frank has basically faced the facts that Alice will never notice him with Slytherins around. There might be a mini plot with Natalie started, but they wont really like each other. Maybe Frank will confide with Remus that he doesn't really like Natalie? Not sure. And they are both Lily's bestie guy friends sooo they would have to start out as okay friends. WOOO I'm so excited!

JAMES AND REMUS::: That's brilliant. Where are you getting these from eh? Eh? tell me tell me tell me! Okay how about a bit of both? James jealous of Remus and Frank's friendship because he's used to all the attention and what not (he is still James), and he's all high strung emotion. Remus also high strung emotion feels hijacked and manipulated by James who's expressing jealousy and dislike for Frank which Remus doesn't feel's fair (and reminds him of Sirius's betrayal and is angry and scared James will go the same way). So lingering tension over Frank, comments and hints and then things just blow up at the Full Moon over (either Frank himself, or something daft).
How's that?
FRANK AND REMUS::
Remus is always good to talk to! He keeps secrets very very well ^_~ Maybe he pushes Frank to go for Alice? He doesn't want anyone to be as sad or as lonely as himself (even though he's got bessies he's still got an element of chronic loneliness). Perhaps during an art session?

James&&Remus- PERFECT. Maybe Frank almost gets hurt in the process of trying to make James and Remus friends again, which solves it in the end because as dense as James is and as scared and alone Remus is. Neither of them will let a friend get hurt. BOOM POWER. Frank&&Remus- PERFECT!!!! Awh. PLotage.

Remus is a cutie. <3
ALICE && REMUS
-waves- Here's the girl for Frank. Alice's outspoken and a rebel, though she knows her limits. Since Remus and Alice are both in Gryffindor and in the same year, they'd have to know each other. Alice's sort of friends with Lily as well. So... these two wouldn't be that good/close friends, but still be able to talk if needed?
REGULUS && REMUS
Dislike. For nothing other than the fact that he's one of Sirius' best friends.
CRISPIN && REMUS
Meet Crispin Warrington. He's played by Zachary Quinto and Anton Yelchin was in Star Trek as well! He's a seventh year Slytherin and a Prefect as well. He doesn't hate Muggleborns and halfbloods and tainted people automatically, but he does want to keep up appearances. I think these two would just have that relationship where they know each other but never talk at all.

We would need to start off a FrankxRemus thread I believe first. Then post around that the full moon is coming as the marauders maybe making the preparations for the night? That's when the fight could happen and the next day could be Frank following Remus because he's upset? Or trying to find James to fix things when he stumbles upon the truth?
I'm so ready to start when you are!
